My Top Five Most Anticipated Films of 2012

From the return to Middle Earth to the last Batman film from director Christopher Nolan, here is my Top Five list of the films scheduled for theatrical release in 2012 I am most looking forward to.

5. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Details about the film's storyline are scarce, but it has already been established that one of villains set to take on the Batman will be the powerhouse known as Bane. Selina Kyle, better known to comics fans as Catwoman, will also have a central role in the movie. The will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

The EXPENDABLES 2 Trailer

The Expendables are back and this time it's personal... New GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE Trailer

Nicolas Cage returns as Johnny Blaze in Columbia Pictures' and Hyde Park Entertainment's Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. In the successor to the worldwide hit Ghost Rider, Johnny - still struggling with his curse as the devil's bounty hunter - is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy (Fergus Riordan) from the devil (Ciaran Hinds). At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy - and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is scheduled for theatrical release on February 17th, 2012.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation is directed by Jon Chu (Justin Bieber: Never Say Never) and stars Channing Tatum as Duke, Ray Park and Lee Byung-hun (I Saw the Devil) as the dueling ninjas Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as Roadblock, Elodie Yung as Jinx, D.J. New DARK KNIGHT RISES Poster Teases Bane & Broken Batman

A brand new teaser poster for the highly anticipated "The Dark Knight Rises" has been made available for viewing pleasure, teasing supervillain Bane's brutality. Instead of showing Batman as a mighty superhero, the dark-themed image gives a look at Bane from behind, standing alone in the middle of a rainstorm while Batman's mask is shattered on the ground.
